YOGA FUNDAMENTALS
New and experienced students will learn the fundamentals of yoga. Flow of standing, seated, and supine poses focusing on movement guided by breath. Modifications for all participants and levels.

GENTLE YOGA
Yoga styled for everyone. Gentle yoga warms the body and encourages the body and mind to work together to stretch, strengthen, and become more flexible while letting go of judgment, expectation, and competition.

POWER YOGA
A powerful sequence of postures combined with breath to create internal heat that strengthens and opens the muscles and purifies the body. A challenging practice that requires an open mind and a willingness to sweat, and ends with calming and centering postures and breath work. This class provides options for all levels, but some previous yoga experience is recommended.

INTERMEDIATE YOGA
Drop-ins are welcome to this power (vinyasa) class, although some experience is necessary including knowledge of basic postures and form. For maximum benefit, please be in good health, free from major injuries, and ready for adventure! Expect a workout in this creative and vigorous class, which explores postures in accessible stages. Note that this is a name change from Tuesday evening power yoga, and all continuing Tuesday evening students are also welcome to continue attending. YOGA (Monday Morning)
This morning class will begin slowly to allow for gradual warm-up and then allow opportunity for more movement. The class is appropriate for beginners as well as those with more experience.

BODYPUMP
The most successful group fitness program in history, BodyPump is the original barbell class to music that strengthens your entire body. This 60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lift, and curls. Great music, awesome instructors, and your choice or weight inspire you to get the results you came for, and fast!

CYCLE
Outdoor cycling workout indoors, designed for “new recruits” and “veteran riders.” Designed to enhance endurance and strength, the cardiovascular benefits are fantastic! Your experienced instructor will professionally fit you to your bike and guide you toward a super-energizing workout set to uplifting music.

This is our 30-minute format class, designed to get you in and out!

AFRO-CUBAN WORKOUT
This is a high-energy class that enables students to loosen up and isolate body motion using movements from Afro-Cuban dances; lots of drumming and harmonic chanting. No partners needed. This class begins Friday, Jan. 15, at 6:30 p.m. and will run through at least Friday, Feb. 5. NOTE: No class on Jan. 29. Cost is $5 for members, $10 for nonmembers. Instructors: Antonio and Heather

INTRODUCTION TO LIFE FITNESS
Let us introduce you to our gym environment. Basic weight training tools, technique for using weight machines, and cardio equipment operation will be addressed to assist you in getting started. *Sign up for our Thursday evening class, offered at 6 p.m. each week, or Monday mornings at 10:30 a.m.*

CARDIO CIRCUIT
Did you know you burn more fat by doing a combination of strength training and cardio? Our circuit training class combines cardiovascular and strength training elements for a total body workout! Expect a great calorie burn with zero boredom. Class will use resistance bands, BOSU stability balls, and step. This is a 45-minute format with an extended end-of-the-week stretch to round out the hour.

BOXING BASICS
In addition to continued work on boxing fundamentals, participants will learn how to hit the heavy and speed bags as well as focus mitts. Using a circuit format, participants will rotate through shadow boxing, bag work, and mitt work.

SUPER STRETCH
This mid-class is designed to increase flexibility and core stabilization. By incorporating dynamic and status stretching techniques and equipment, Super Stretch boasts a total body stretch that will leave you limber and revitalized to finish out your week.

BOOT CAMP
Enjoy this exciting circuit-style class that will take your workout to the next level. Increase strength and endurance while improving your cardiovascular fitness using fun props and weights in this high-energy interval training, total-body workout. Gain functional strength in this effective and fun class.

GROUP STRENGTH
Enjoy this full-body muscular workout using the barbell and hand-held weights. Increase your strength and endurance while making your entire body lean!

ZUMBA
The routines feature interval training where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you’ve got Zumba!

AB-SOLUTION

Tired of the same old ab workouts that don’t seem to give you the results you want? Then come challenge the core muscles of the abs and back in this intense 30-minute workout. Join our core-master instructor, and with the freshest music you’re sure to get the results you want while having a blast.

We suggest the following:

  • Please bring a water bottle and towel to class.
  • Cross-training/aerobic shoes are recommended in the studio.
  • SPD clips are recommended for cycling but not required.
  • Please arrive to class on time or 10 minutes early for set-up.
  • Sign-up sheets may be used for special classes.

For yoga classes, some special guidelines apply:

  • Please practice in bare feet.
  • Wear comfortable, fitted, stretchy clothing that will stay put during the practice.
  • Drinking water is not recommended during yoga class unless you have a medical necessity.
