The way it works:

  • Any time the forecast calls for an 80% chance of rain (or more) for the upcoming day, there will be a Rainy Day Club the next day.
  • Rainy Day Club days/hours: Monday through Friday, 1:00 – 2:30pm
  • Ages: 5-10
  • Cost:
    • Drop in/Non-members: $15 for first kid, then $10 for each additional
    • Drop in/Member: $7.50 for first kid, then $5 for each additional
    • PUNCHCARD/Non-members: $120 for ten visits
    • PUNCHCARD/Members: $60 for ten visits

PAVITT KID CLUB CHILDCARE PROVIDER

Position Summary:

This position provides all the necessary primary care for infants, toddlers and direct supervision of older children in the Kid Club area. The primary job of the Kid Club Childcare Provider is to ensure the safety and security of all children while in the Kid Club care.

Responsibilities:

  • Care for children in the defined area of Kid Club Center.
  • Interact with the children in a positive and age appropriate manner.
  • Organize and participate in recreational and educational activities, such as games, drawing, handicrafts, and reading to children.
  • Maintain discipline with the children and initiate other measures to control behavior.
  • Maintain records on individual children ensuring that all children have a registration form on file.

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Pass a drug test
  • Pass a background check
  • 2 years prior work experience in a daycare/childcare environment required
  • Infant and Child First Aid and CPR certification required
  • Physically able to lift 50 pounds

Job Description
Pavitt Health & Fitness is looking for an Equipment and Facility Maintenance and Repair Technician who can ensure the proper care of facilities and equipment while working as part of a team to provide a positive experience for our members. This position is directly supervised by the General Manager, and will assist in a variety of areas, including, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for daily maintenance of fitness equipment. Fitness equipment includes cardiovascular, weight machines, free weight and indoor cycling equipment.
  • Performing repairs and preventative maintenance on gym and facility equipment including; pool, hot tub, sauna, HVAC systems, water heaters and boilers, etc.
  • General facility maintenance as required.
  • Schedule and execute weekly, monthly and annual preventative maintenance. Keep records. Maintain organized workshop area and inventory.
  • Communicate and coordinate with the fitness and front desk staff and equipment vendors.
  • Purchase parts and equipment and track warranty related information.
  • Be alert for the security and safety of self and others.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates must be at least 21 years or older to apply
  • Knowledge of building skills such as electrical, plumbing, painting, minor carpentry, tile repair and drywall
  • Some local travel required
  • A self-starter with highly developed problem solving skills
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage a variety of tasks
  • Understand and practice positive customer/member relations
  • CPO training and/or swimming pool maintenance experience a plus
  • High School diploma or equivalent
