Position Summary: This position plays a central role in the organization and is responsible for:
- Directly assisting the management,
- Performing and/or coordinating front desk duties and member services,
- Managing and tracking membership information and accounts, and
- Ensuring the highest possible level of member satisfaction
Certification and Educational Requirements (expected within the first 12 months of employment):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR & First Aid certification
Experience
- Retail sales experience
- Customer service experience
- Computer-based tracking and data entry systems
Organization skills
- Attention to detail
- Competent in areas of decision making, planning, and analyzing information
- Coordinating and prioritizing assignments, projects, and daily duties
Skills Required:

Duties to Be Performed:
- Handle incoming calls
- Greet people
- Check in members, verify membership, collect fees
- Use analytical skills to maintain efficiency and quality
- Perform general cleaning duties to include regular locker room and workout area checks
- Process and reconcile all retail and membership monetary transactions
- Ensure required forms are available, and completed and processed properly
- Handle member service issues that include: personal training, guests, lost and found items, new memberships, change of address, EFT setup or change, and questions regarding billings and payments
- Handle membership payments, cancellations and freezes
- Review agreements and prepare daily paperwork for management review
- Help design and implement procedures that add to workplace efficiency
- Give facility tours
- Sell and keep supplies stocked of all snack and drink items
- Keep towels washed, dried and folded
- Keep desk and lobby neat and clean at all times
- Be alert for the security and safety of self and others
- Undefined work assigned by supervisor
Supervision: This position is supervised by the General Manager

Do you have part time? I work Wednesday to Tuesday and then have a week off till my next work week. Would that be workable for me to put an app in or should I not even bother?
