Corey and Ellen P
avitt opened the health and fitness center at it’s current location in April of 2006. They are strong advocates of regular exercise as part of a healthy lifestyle, and enjoy a variety of activities themselves, ranging from regular workouts in the gym to hiking and biking to snowboarding and yoga. Corey is a doctor of chiropractic with additional expertise in nutrition counseling and rehabilitation. He is also a weight training enthusiast and holds state titles in bodybuilding. Ellen holds an undergraduate degree in nutrition and a master’s degree in social work.
Joe and Anita Parrish joined Corey and Ellen as partners in the health and fitness center in 2014. They bring decades of experience in managing programs that promote healthy lifestyles throughout Alaska and beyond. Joe is the Pavitt Health & Fitness General Manager. Both Anita and Joe enjoy the outdoors, with Joe being particularly “obsessed” with skiing.
